ER Handpiece Repair, located in Plainfield, Illinois, is owned and operated by Eric and Laura Reibenstein. We relocated from Canton, Ohio to Plainfield in 2001. Upon relocating from Ohio to Illinois, Eric chose to pursue his dream of being his own boss and owning a business. ER Handpiece Repair was founded and has grown steadily ever since.

Eric holds an AS in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio.
Prior to opening ER Handpiece Repair, Eric held a variety of positions in job shop manufacturing. The in depth knowledge of metals and mechanics gained in these roles has proved to be very valuable in the handpiece repair business. Eric’s engineering background coupled with the machining equipment he owns, allow him to service the traditional handpiece repair requests, and also fix, adjust and salvage unusual problem handpieces.

In 2003 Laura joined Eric in the business following a lengthy career in information technology outsourcing. Laura holds a BA in Finance from UW-Whitewater.

We offer complete service on all makes and models of handpieces, including powered surgical instruments. We also provide instrument sharpening. Your satisfaction with our service is our primary goal.
